Early Keyboard Day

  • Peaslee Neighborhood Center 215 East 14th Street Cincinnati, OH, 45202 United States (map)

A day for the keyboard player who wants to know more, for the professional who wants to learn about early instruments and what they can teach us, and for the Liebhaber who just loves keyboard music of any era. Learn what these instruments can teach us and try your hand playing on a variety of early keyboards!

The day includes talks, demonstrations, coffee/juice, hands-on time in 4 different spaces, and a masterclass led by  Micaela Schmitz and Michael Unger featuring clavichord, harpsichord and piano.

$15 entry (pre-registration encouraged). Free to students of the Peaslee School. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. The venue has free parking for participants.

Times are subject to change. For updates, please visit earlymusica.org/press/early-keyboard-day/
